The March beginner class starts on Wednesday, March 2. Call 238-3111 or email to register. The class fee is $60 and equipment can be either rented or purchased.

Lost and Found - 5 Feb 2011
Are you or your fencer missing a shin/foot guard? One was left in front of our door the other day so I assume one of the other building tenants found it in the parking lot. Let me know!
Also, please take a minute or three to check your fencing gear to see if some strays have found their way into your stuff. The club and I are short a few body cords and I know how easy it is drop small things like that into your bag and forget about them, no worries! Club body cords are marked with a band of yellow tape and my cords are marked with blue and green tape. If you come across a cord that isn't yours, just drop it off next time you're at club. Thanks!

Sunday, signups, and shout-outs - 5 Feb 2011
PFC - No fencing this Sunday! I know that not everyone will be watching the game but based on past attendance on Super Bowl Sunday, I'm canceling practice this weekend. So have fun this weekend and I'll see you next Sunday!
Fencing Class Part I: Didn't get signed up for the February beginner class at IWFC? That's all right, new fencers are being accepted through Monday, February 7. Email to register or hey, just show up Monday night at 6:00!
Fencing Class Part II: There are still a few spaces available in the next beginner and intermediate classes in Poquoson. Classes start next Sunday, February 13, so contact Poquoson Parks and Rec to get signed up!
A big 'woo hoo!' goes out to James and Josh F. for last weekend's Ratings Rumble in Richmond! It was the second outing for each and both fenced well. Josh won his first DE and James darned near won his as well. Way to go, guys! Full results are here.
