With the holiday and all, I'm pushing this month's equipment order deadline back a few days. September equipment orders and payments are due to me by 10 p.m. this Sunday, September 9. Items should be available for pick-up at IWFC Thursday night.
Then we have a long break coming up. There will be no fencing at either location from Sunday, September 16, through Thursday, September 27. The regular schedule will resume Sunday, September 30. So if you order equipment this month and need it before the end of the month, be sure to pick it up Thursday!
Although it's not on the Poquoson Parks and Rec website yet, the next set of Poquoson fencing classes will begin on Sunday, September 30. Registration is not open yet, however. Keep an eye on PPR's website and as soon as you see they've posted the fall schedule, you can contact them to register.
You can begin registering now for the October IWFC classes! The next IWFC beginner class will begin on Monday, October 1 and the next intermediate class (saber!) will begin on Tuesday, October 2. Details on both classes, including fees, can be seen here. To register, send an email to coach@iwfc.net with the name and age of the fencers you're signing up. Payment can be made in advance here or at the first class. We'll take care of equipment sizing and ordering as part of the first class.
