A bit ago, I gave some of our epeeists a heads-up about a change in a rule enforcement regarding epee wires at the socket. The FOC finally came out with an official announcement a few days ago. Enforcement will kick in on 1 August so you've got a couple of months to rearrange things. With any luck, you'll be able to just loosen one screw and holding the plastic socket to the metal holder and remove the other, slide the wires to the outside of the bracket, replace the removed screw, and tighten the loosened one.
